Application Description

Hot-melt adhesive is used to stick straws to box such as fruit juices, milk and other drink boxes. The top layer of these packages is usually made of polyethylene, polypropylene or other materials with low surface energy, which makes it difficult for the straw to stick to the polyethylene cover. Therefore, the adhesive used for straw attachment must have suitable wettability and create proper adhesion. In addition, the adhesion should be optimal so that the straw can be easily removed for use. Also, due to normally protecting of drinks in the refrigerator, the adhesive must be able to withstand low temperatures.
Cap-Fix hotmelt adhesive is another adhesive using in TetraPack industries for bonding caps to Tetra pack surfaces.
